Dulverton Congregational Church

Christians have met in this historic chapel for nearly 200 years. We currently meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3pm in the old Sunday School Hall for an exciting programme of worship and Bible study.

We are working on an exciting refurbishment project to bring the whole building back into use and find new uses for it. The site has many stories, including that of Dulvertonian George Williams, the Congregationalist who founded the YMCA .

Next meeting: You are invited to join our Carol Service on Sunday December 14th at 3pm. Our guest pianist is Andrew Kelly, of Wiveliscombe Community Church. We had a lovely gathering in November when we heard about the extraordinary life of George Williams, the Dulverton farmboy who founded the YMCA.
